Results for the ON-SPOT round are out.
All the ten teams should be present tomorrow sharp at 09:00 hrs at Central Lecture Complex.
Ashtavigyan, as the name suggests is an event comprising of eight rounds which will test the teams in all possible disciplines of engineering and finally crown the ultimate engineer. The first will be a preliminary round which will be held both online and on campus. Thereafter, the final teams will be put to seven other rounds. The teams will have to, in themselves, be jack of all trades as well as master of some to come out on top in this all in one engineering test.
Event Structure
- The top 7 teams will be selected for the finals at Pragyan 08.
- Another prelim will also be held during February 29th on-spot, out of which 3 more teams will be selected and a total of 10 teams will compete in the finals.
- The seven sub-events will be held on February 29 and March 1.
Rules and Regulations
- A team must comprise of six members preferably from different departments.
- All team members must have a valid college ID card.
- The prelims will be for one hour comprising 50 multiple choice questions.
- There will be negative marking for the questions.
- In case of any discrepancies, the decision of the judges and the event managers will be final.
Schedule
On-Spot Prelims : February 28, 2008 (timing 16:00 to 17:00) at Central lecture complex (CLC).
Finals: February 29 to March 1, 2008.

Yes, but the best of three prelims would be considered. - Do we have to bring any materials for the finals?
No, all the necessary materials will be provided on the spot.
