Then Circuitrix is the event for you this Pragyan. Circuitrix, the circuit designing contest, will be held in three rounds.First two rounds will be eliminative, and finally a certain number of teams will be short-listed for the final round, where they will be asked to implement a circuit, given certain constraints. So for all of you who feel you have right mix of theoretical and practical know-how in designing circuits, this event will test your mettle in every possible way.

Event Format

1. The first round is online in which teams will be judged on their basic knowledge of electronics, ability toanalyse new circuits and aptitude.
2. Teams short listed will then have an on-campus second round. Given a list of components (i.e Integrated Circuits, resistors, capacitors, switches etc.), the teams will be expected to come up with a theoretical circuit implementation of a problem within a specific time duration.Factors on which candidates will be shortlisted for final round are:
   • No component should be used from outside the list provided. 
   • Compatibility of implementing the circuit practically.
   • Robustness, efficiency of circuit will be considered in case of a tie.
3. The final round will be held in an electronics lab. The teams will be provided with all the component mentioned in the list. Factors on which teams will be judged are:
   • Working of the circuit.
   • The proximity of the practical implementation to that of the theoretical design.
   • Time, efficiency.

Rules and Regulation

1. A team cannot consist of more than 3 members.
2. Prior registration is required for participating in the event.
3. The decision of the judges will be final.
