 NITT awaits you for the one and only NITTro,the car racing event at PRAGYAN'08.This event will require you to build your own IC ENGINE POWERED CAR and go head on  in  a no-holds-barred RACE to the finish. Go ahead. Make your own F-1 car and come to Pragyan'08 for NITTro.

Rules and Regulations

1. Teams of Five, not necessarily from the same college 
2. The engine should be rated 3.2cc or less 
3. The vehicle should be of dimensions 60*50*50 cubic cm. 
4. The following parts are to be fabricated by the team    
   • every component of the steering system  
   • chassis
   • body
   • suspension 
5. Functional parts other than those mentioned above can be pre-fabricated 
6. All other structural parts are to be fabricated. 
7. All the teams will be given three time trials. 
8. Based on the time trials,teams will be selected for the final round. 
9. The final round will be a head on head knock out. 
10. Electric Power can be used only for controlling purposes like steering and throttle 
11. All Teams are requested to bring dual frequency remote controls, so as to ensure that there is no clashing of frequencies. 
12. All Teams are required to submit a photograph of their model before the deadline to nittro[at]pragyan[dot]org. 
13. The Terrain will be hardened clay 
14. The Track will consisnt of gentle turns, small obstacles and will generally be smooth 
15. The actual dimensions of the track will be put up soon 
16. PLEASE NOTE: Teams will have to bring their own fuel. Fuel will not be provided at the venue.

Deadline for submission of pictures of the vehicle: 15th February, 2008.
Practice slots: 28th February,2008. 
Time trials: 29th February, 2008.
