The Sensex has broken another barrier crow the news columns as the Sensex keeps rising to newer and newer heights. Share holders are jubilant; they just can't wait for a more appropriate situation to sell off their shares. Others think twice before putting their paychecks into stocks. Hold on! What is the fuss all about?
The stock market is nothing new to us you say. In fact you don't have to go all the way to Dalal Street, Mumbai. Presenting the much awaited event of Pragyan, Dalal Street, this with an additional feature of Mutual Funds Investments.
One very obvious reason why this event has met with such a phenomenal response is that the Sensex is something about which everyone is so inquisitive and curious to know more about what really happens there. Keeping this in mind, the event was given shape.
The game is simple but heavily contested and it is merely based on the basics on which the stock exchange runs. Fictitious Companies/Mutual Funds will be used in the game. You are given some capital money (virtual, please) to play with. You are free to decide which company/Mutual Funds serve as the best bet for you. Price trends in the form of graph and news flashes will help you in predicting the company's future. Accordingly you put your money into it. The news flashes will give you some hint about the change in price of the company. So, depending upon how cleverly you have invested your money, bought and sold shares in harmony with the changing market you reap your harvest...oops gain or lose. In the end, a high value net worth marks you as the winner. Isn't that totally stock-market like?

Market Timings :
Morning Session : 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM IST.
Afternoon Session : 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM IST.

- Cheating in any form (multiple accounts, cross trading, round trading, ...) will lead to disqualification from the game.
