Day 3:

 

Problem statement:

 

To construct an air propelled car.

Participating teams need to construct a car, with the given materials, that can move forward using wind energy.

 

Evaluation criteria:

 

The car that crosses the finish line fastest or the one that goes the maximum distance will win the race.

The journey of the car will end if any of the following events take place:

1. Car crosses the finish line.

2. Completion of 30 seconds.

3. Car goes off-track.

4. Car topples.

The rear most point of the car will be considered for evaluation,

I.e. the distance of the rear most point of the car from the start line will represent the distance of the car from that line.
