Description

  • We put up problem statements that define what is the input to your program and what it must output.
  • You write programs that do the necessary processing/transformation from input to output.
  • You submit the programs to our online judge (which is an automated checker).
  • The Judge instantly checks if your program works fine, by testing it with several inputs.
  • The Judge gives you a response, which is one of this.
  • The objective is to solve problems and score maximal total points.

Rules and Regulations

  • The ranking is based on the total score accumulated for all problems.
  • Ties in the total score are broken by the total time taken. Shorter times are better.
  • Ties for a problem are broken by the time of latest score improving submission.
  • The testcases for each problem are divided into a number of different classes to attempt to differentiate between solutions of varying algorithmic and space complexities.
  • Each testcase tests for a particular time/space complexity and this is displayed to user. After running a program against a testcase, the judge produces a status message. This is also output to the user.
  • The contest will consist of more testcases than what the judge solution is aimed to clear, in an effort to encourage more innovative solutions and algorithms. Clearing these testcases will most likely identify the winner.
