Topics:

  1. Butterfly Effect

The term "butterfly effect" is attributed to Edward Norton Lorenz, a mathematician and meteorologist, who was one of the first proponents of Chaos Theory. A speech he delivered was titled, “Does the Flap of a Butterfly’s Wings in Brazil Set off a Tornado in Texas.” The main idea is that small changes can lead to enormous outcomes eventually.

  2. Streisand Effect

The Streisand effect is a phenomenon on the Internet where an attempt to censor or remove a piece of information backfires, causing the information to be widely publicized. Examples of such attempts include censoring a photograph, a number, a file, or a website. Instead of being suppressed, the information quickly receives extensive publicity, often being widely mirrored across the Internet, or distributed on file-sharing networks.

  3. Observer Effect

It is a phenomenon that occurs when individuals alter their performance or behavior due to the awareness that they are being observed. The change may be positive or negative, and depends on the situation. It is a significant threat to a research study's internal validity and is typically controlled for using blind experiment designs.
In physics, the term observer effect refers to changes that the act of observation will make on the phenomenon being observed. This is often the result of instruments that, by necessity, alter the state of what they measure in some manner.

  4. Ratchet Effect

The ratchet effect is the commonly observed phenomenon that some processes cannot go backwards once certain things have happened, by analogy with the mechanical ratchet that holds the spring tight as a clock is wound up. For example, year by year, automobiles gradually acquire more features. Competitive pressures make it hard for manufacturers to cut back on the features unless forced by a true scarcity of raw materials (e.g. an oil shortage that drives costs up radically).

FAQ
  • What do you mean be non scientific, non documentary interpretation?
It means that the way you present the concept should not be to explain the ideology directly. Instead, adapt them to some real-life story such that the main funda can be understood by a layman with no knowledge of science.
  • Where can I get more info about the topics?
The Internet!! Google, Wiki, Wise-Geek or anything for that matter. As long as you understand the general drift of the topic eventually.
  • Would the number of heads limit count even for a crowd scene?
Nope. Not unless everyone in the crowd has something to say.
  • What software can I use for editing?
Totally up to you! Premiere Pro, Magix Movie Edit or even Windows Movie Maker. Anything that you comfortable with. It's a problem of plenty!
