Mr. Iqbal Ahmed shares a passion for developing miniature engineering models. He is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for making the World's Smallest Handcrafted Steam Engine weighing just 1.72 grams, having a flywheel of dia 6.8mm. Interestingly, he uses only a common lathe, with no additional attachments to churn out these minature marvels. He is currently working on miniature Wankle Rotors, Jet Engines and a self rotation turbine.
Mr.Iqbal will be showcasing his miniature creations at Pragyan 09.
