Thomas Kuruvilla is the Managing Director of the Middle East operations of Arthur D. Little, one of the worlds top consultancy firms. Thomas is also the Head of the Strategy and Organization practice in South Asia and Middle East. Thomas has been with Arthur D. Little for over ten years and was earlier responsible for Arthur D. Little’s Singapore office.
Mr. Kuruvilla has a Bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kerala University and MBA from the Melbourne Business School, Australia/Asian Institute of Management, Philippines. Before joining Arthur D. Little he worked with Larsen and Toubro, the largest engineering company in India. Thomas was also selected as a Pilot Officer with Indian Air Force.
In the field of TIME - Telecommunications, Information, Media, and Entertainment, Thomas Kuruvilla is one of the leading experts in Asia having accumulated valuable experience all across the region. His work has resulted in the setting up of the telecommunication industry in the Middle East, helping it become the new financial and commercial hub of the world. His considerable expertise has led him to be appointed as interim CEOs by many of Asia's biggest names to turnaround their operations. Thomas conducts lectures for MBA programmes by various institutes including the IIMs, ISB (Hyderabad) and INSEAD. Thomas is also a speaker in conferences in the areas of Strategic Planning, Turnaround Management and Corporate Venturing.
Despite his busy schedule, Mr Kuruvilla is a leading figure in the management school also, conducting various courses on Strategic Planning, Turnaround Management and Corporate Venturing. He is acclaimed as a leading authority in the aforementioned fields.
Mr Kuruvilla will speak on consultancy strategies and its application in different countries like India, China and Middle East.
