This competition is an online event conducted by an online portal btechguru.com, incubated in Cell for Technology Innovation, Development and Entrepreneurship Support, IIT Madras.

It is a platform where students can showcase their technical blogs / discussions / projects / advancements, challenges in the collaborative environment.

Every student will be given a home page, for example www.btechguru.com/XYZ is the home page of Mr. XYZ. Mr XYZ can create blog and organize discussions in the areas of his interest. He can also upload his project documents, solved papers and any other technical material on to this home page. Mr.XYZ or any user will be given prize based on the following criteria:

• Quality Content
• Number of hits for that page
• Public rating for that page.

• Copyrighted material should not be uploaded.
• All the content should be Technical. 

Btechguru.com is a technology-driven career development web portal for all engineering students. This is a platform where all the students from all corners of the world can network and share knowledge and get the full benefit of this Cyber-centric world.

Apart from the basic open source material available (civil services, GATE, GRE, Job, etc.) on the website, the website offers following value-added services: Personal web page for students to host their own content , Blogs & Discussion forums (GATE cuf-offs, Admissions, etc.) Special Open Source Materials Information about Jobs, Internships, Competitive Exams and Events, etc.

The lifetime Subscription for btechguru.com is Rs.100 per student. The students have to pre-register for the event. They will, after the required payment of Rs.100, be then provided with a unique code using which they  shall login to the links provided to them.
