It's a perfect opportunity for you to come up with your innovations. The main objective of Avishkar is to motivate participants to transform their ideas into real working prototypes. The team has to present a working model that brings forth its ingenious ideas to give thought provoking & beneficial results. The best model will be selected on the basis of it's overall innovation and efficiency.

- Design Outline: Design equations, diagrams, experiment design, algorithms etc. Your own ideas should be emphasized.
- Innovative component in the design: Mention what is your own contribution to the model design and how is it better than commonly used methods.
- Test results: Is your model complete? If yes, then how was it tested? Summarize your results.
- Instruments or Other special requirements for display of model e.g. Oscilloscope, Regulated Power Supply etc.

Round II - Exhibition session
The selected entries will be provided stalls and supporting infrastructure in a special Avishkar exhibition during Pragyan '09 to display their working models/projects. The evaluation will be based on the marks awarded by the Judges on specific criteria & also the response of the visitors to the stalls. The feedback for each model will be provided to their respective teams.
Eligibility:
Any student pursuing a degree or diploma in a technical field from a recognized institution and with a valid identity proof can participate.
Any non-software and non-theoretical working model/project from any branch of engineering is eligible for Avishkar. However, the models should be practical implementations of your ideas and not showpieces. For example, A Fuel cell model should actually work, a thermocole model is not what we expect.
Judging Criteria:
- Creativity
- Real world application
- Technical soundness
- Marketability of the idea
- Presentation of work
Rules:
- The maximum team size is 4.
- There can be only one entry from each team. If more than one entry is received, only the first entry will be considered as valid entry.
- All decisions of the organizing team will be final.
