Dr. Prabhakar Marur earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University, Alabama in 1999, and has more than 15 years of industrial research experience. Currently, he is a staff researcher in General Motors R&D in Bangalore. His research interests are in micromechanics, crashworthiness and impact biomechanics. He has published 30+ articles in peer reviewed international journals and has 5+ patents.
