Your home could have developed a mind of its own, or your android suddenly seems more human than machine. Whatever your story, we want to hear it, and pay you for it!

We had a very complex grading android, but it stopped working; now we have to read all the entries ourselves. So please, stick to the word limit - a very generous 1000 (bonus points for restricting it to 500). For finer and more subtle details, please refer to the rules and regulations.

Deadline: Midnight, 27th February.

1. We stress again - ONLY science fiction allowed. No dissertations on relativity or the big bang theory, please.
2. Bonus Points for not using Sci-fi cliches like 'Alien', 'Spaceship' and 'Time Travel'. Again, make sure Rule 1 is not violated.
3. Thousand word limit.
4. The evil space aliens are watching you. No Plagiarism, please.

• What if I HAVE to include a few sci-fi cliches in my entry?

The evaluation system is very flexible, and if you feel that such words are integral to your story, feel free to include them. There is no penalty for it.
