It consists of two rounds:

• Preliminary round will be conducted online a few weeks before Pragyan ’10 on the basis of which participants will be shortlisted for the final round.
• The final round to be held in NIT Trichy will consist of a multi-tiered series of events all of which are eliminative in nature. Three such events will be scheduled, the structure of which will be as follows:

1. Round 1: The participants are divided into two groups. They are given a stall and a sum of Rs.1000. The objective is to make maximum profit within a stipulated time period.
2. Round 2: Stock Pitch- Each team is given a company to analyze and determine whether to buy the company’s stocks or sell.
3. Round 3: Case analysis.

These events will be held over a period of two days at Pragyan 2010.

1. This is an individual event.
2. There is no restriction on the number of participants from a particular college.
3. The plan should not exceed 3 pages (A4 size). Use font size "12" and font type "Times New Roman" for your script. Name your plan appropriately.

• Do we have to bring any materials for the finals?

No, all the necessary materials will be provided on the spot.

• Do we need a management background to participate in the event?

Not necessary as it requires only basic analytical skills.
