Nurtured only by a few, perfected by even fewer, Sand Art is the art of dexterous movement of grains of sand against an illuminated surface, creating images and illusions telling us something. Mr Amar Sen, one of India's premier entertainer, has been entertaining thousands of people with his Sand Art. This show will be an incredibly entertaining experience as Mr Sen creates various images using all but fingers as the brush and sand as color.
The beauty of this art lies in its ever evolving nature. It is a unique experience to watch the sand form the image live, and a brush of a hand erasing it all and starting afresh, while the lilting music behind it takes you deeper into each fleeting image that forms, that is Sand Art. Where the creations are ever fragile, but the images ever resilient.
