Ever heard of JPL’s LEMUR, HEXABUG, RiSE, AMOS..??

Ever thought of hexapods gaiting right in front of your eyes?? Is that possible?

Yes! Li2-Innovations makes it possible. For the first time in India, they present a Hexapod Workshop, an advanced robotics workshop.

A hexapod robot is a mechanical vehicle that walks on six legs. Since a robot can be statically stable on three or more legs, a hexapod robot has a great deal of flexibility in how it can move.

During workshop students will be working on how to interface each limbs to perform different gaits with advanced controller specially designed for legged robots which is capable of controlling 12 and odd motors simultaneously. They get knowledge of legged robots operation and their applications.

(Gait is the pattern of movement of the limbs of terrestrial animals, during locomotion.)

Hexapods will be able to perform following gait styles:

• Forward and backward.
• Rotation at a place.
• Rotation along arc.
• Tripod gait.
• Quadrapod gait.
• Pentapod gait.
• Crab gait.
• Crouching.
• Stretching and relaxation.

Lots more can be done with the help of advanced controller and customized stable flexible hexapod.

• Hexapod Gait algorithms and Basic Locomotion programming (Hands-On)
• Testing and Tuning of the robot (Hands-On)
• Grand Finale Multiple Gait Sequencing (Hands-on)
• Hexapods on Arena

Duration

This will be a two-day workshop.

Workshop Charges:

Charges for a Team (Maximum 4 persons in a team) : Rs.7500 (including the cost of the take away kit, which includes the robot as shown in the video)

After registration, the Workshops Team will contact each participant personally via email.

Participants may take the kit home with themselves once the Workshop is over.
