Manthan, ‘churning the nectar’ in Sanskrit is exactly going to do so. Except that it is your grey cells and not nectar, this Pragyan, that are going to be subjected to rigorous racking and attrition. You, by the virtue of being an Engineer of tomorrow and the day after, will have to come up with quick, efficient and feasible solutions for all the industrial conundrums we present you with.

 

 

Employing the theoretical knowledge that one would find abundant in lecture halls, in practical applications is what is expected of you. Judicious use of resources and efficiency of the idea are some of the parameters for evaluation. The problems will demand one to be well versed with the good old Newton’s laws as well as the complex formulations of Hydro Dynamics by Bernoulli. 

 

  • Event distributed in 2 rounds:

     

    • Round 1-written MCQ test(eliminative)
       
    • Round 2- practical round (6 tasks)
       

     
  • 6 teams gets selected for the final round and each team performs all 6 tasks.
     

 

 

  • Use of cell phones, calculator etc. is prohibited in 1st round i.e. written test round.
     
  • The decision taken by the coordinator in selection criteria will be final and can’t be argued. If done so, the team will get disqualified.
     
  • The criteria for selection in 1st round will be depending totally upon the marks scored by the teams. 6 highest scoring teams will get shortlisted and will be informed by night through messages.
     
  • 2nd day practical tasks round will be held and the teams which cannot make it to the venue in time will not be allowed to perform the tasks and will be disqualified.
     
  • All members of the team should be present for the final round.
