Let’s take a break from science, news, and awesome geek stuff. We’re headed back to NIT Trichy and with just under 5 weeks to go for Pragyan ‘09, here’s a sneak peak into some of the Workshops you can look forward to.
Ever fancied using the entire world as your canvas? Welcome to the colorful world of light painting. For the uninitiated, this is a photographic technique in which lights sources are used as the brushes to create paintings. The camera or the light source is moved to create intricate patterns. And unlike conventional paintings you are not bound by the dimensions of the canvas.
You will learn the entire process of light painting right from the conception stage to the execution. This workshop will be organized by Mr. Kshitiz Anand. Mr. Anand is a professional user experience designer. He completed his undergraduate degree in Communication Design in IIT-Guwahati has a Masters in Human Computer Interaction design. He has been a freelance photographer for over 6 years and got published in several magazines. He has conducted several workshops in photography most notably for Infosys and in IIT-Guwahati in the recent past.

Since it is our sincere endeavor at Pragyan to leave no stone unturned, we have decided to bring forth to you a newer and more fun robotics workshop. Moving from bio-inspired robotics last time to Multi Functional Autonomous Bots this time, we have taken another step towards mastering this subtle science.
‘Making learning fun, by doing’ is the best way to describe this workshop. Come Pragyan 09 and gear up for a whirlwind of an experience!!
