The Sixth Pragyan

// March 1st, 2010 // 1 Comment » // Pragyan

Ever since the first edition of Pragyan, it has been growing in stature and has joined the pantheon of top notch technical conventions in India. It has become a congregation of the brightest minds and a melting pot of revolutionary ideas. The sixth edition too lived up to its reputation. It was celebrated from the 25th of Feb to the 28th of Feb at the NITT campus.

The Pragyan team would like to like everyone involved with Pragyan 2010 either directly or indirectly. We thank all our corporate partners and all the enthusiastic participants. A special thanks to all members of the Organizing Team for putting in your best efforts without which an event of such magnitude wouldn’t have been possible.

*If you had missed the event you can catch a glimpse of Pragyan 2010 through the lens of our photography team. More photos will be uploaded soon.

Of Snakes and Shells

// January 24th, 2010 // No Comments » // Pragyan

Come summer holidays and all the afternoons used to pass wih grandparents, snacks and some invariable board game or the other. Welcome Pragyan, a bunch of image sensing robots and some loose snakes, and hey you’re on your way to some cash! Completely innovative and the first of its kind, Snakes and Ladders will surely be a much-awaited event @ this year’s Pragyan. As you prepare to watch the bot to either end up as the snake’s dinner or crawl away to glory, don’t forget the other event to watch out for: Crack the Shell. Being elementary in concept, and brutal in competition, this one promises everyone that there’s more to Linux than just cute penguins. Code your way through the shell, find one minute solutions to everyday computer problems and claim your title.

P.S.: The event managers of SNL and CTS are finally  :-D
