• The event requires the interested teams/individuals to create an app for the Android OS for mobiles(tablets and netbooks versions are not recommended).
• The participants are required to create an app using the CLI(Command Line Interface).
• The .apk file has to be submitted on or before 18th February 2011 (Details coming up soon). The source code is to be submitted along with the application.
• The .apk file and the source code must be put into a zip archive and submitted.
• The purpose of the app is left to the desire of the participants.
• The criteria for judging are also left to the panel of judges. However,
  • Intuitive interface
  • Creativity and practical use of the app
  • Compatibility with older Android versions and mid – range offerings
  etc, will also play an important role in judging.
• The winners will be announced during the fest.

• The application has to be genuine. It may however be inspired from any of the apps available in the market.
• Participants can be disqualified without prior notice if the judges doubt the authenticity of the app submitted.
• Google App Inventor is strictly prohibited.
• The decision of the panel of judges is final and binding.
• Real world testing will also be done.
• The developers are advised to avoid creating apps that require su(super user) access privileges.
• Once again, we repeat that PLAGIARISM will NOT BE TOLERATED.
