SQUARE ONE - CHENNAI EDITION

The Pragyan’15 Outreach event Square One’s Chennai edition took place at the Sathyabama University, Chennai on November 1st and 2nd, 2014.

The Outreach event is mainly conducted to reach out to more people about Pragyan and get them interested enough to participate in Pragyan. It serves as a bridge to connect the participants with Pragyan much before the actual event.

Four different events were conducted during the course of the programme. This included a guest lecture, the Circuitrix event, the regional prelims of the Pragyan Open Quiz and a hovercraft workshop, conducted by the AeroSapiens, in association with the Third Dimension Aeromodelling club of NIT Trichy.

The guest lecture saw a huge turnout of about 250 students.

The response from the audience was highly encouraging. Students were especially appreciative of the guest lecture event and the workshop.

Subsequent editions of Square One have been planned to be held tentatively in Hyderabad and Bangalore.
