With the world energy consumption increasing exponentially, our primary aim must be 

towards reducing energy consumption. To aim towards this, we need to take our own baby 

steps at home that when multiplied by the millions of households in modern day cities can 

lead to large savings.

The main objective of the event is to come up with an innovative idea that will reduce the 

energy consumption in our homes. The problem statement can be tackled by targeting even 

the smallest of problems like sensors for lighting around the house or maintaining an 

optimum temperature in our rooms. There are various other suggestions listed below:
