1. What is The Ultimate Manager ‘18?
The Ultimate Manager is an event in Pragyan’18 that tests your business and managerial skills.
2. What is involved in this event? How many rounds does the event have?
We are going to test the managerial capabilities of an individual through a series of rounds.
The event consists of five rounds. The first round is a business quiz. This round is eliminative.
The qualifying candidates move to Round 2 which is an ideation round. Round 3 is a group round where the groups will be given a socially relevant topic and overnight they have to come up with an innovative idea. Round 4 is auction and action where the participants choose and buy from a list of products and sell that product to the audience. Then there is the final Press interview round.
3. Who can participate in this event?
It is open to all business as well as non-business students.
4. How to register for the event?
It will be an on-spot registration.
5. Will we be provided with accommodation?
Accommodation will be provided only if the participant registers on the Pragyan website.
6. What is the registration fee?
There is no registration fee for the event.
7. When is the event going to be held?

RULES:
Round 1: Business Quiz
● Duration: 20 minutes
● 30 questions
● No negative marking
● 32 contestants will be shortlisted
Round 2: Group Activity
● Groups of 4
● 5 minutes to plan and strategise and 30 minutes to complete the task
● 16 contestants will be shortlisted.
Round 3: Corporate Social Responsibility
● Groups of 2
● Overnight task on a socially relevant topic
● Have to come up with an innovative idea
● 8 contestants will be shortlisted
Round 4: Action and Auction
● Individual task
● Bid for a product
● Buy it
● Sell it
● Maximise your profit
● 5 contestants will be shortlisted
Round 5: Stress Interview
● Each participant will be given a crisis situation
● Judges and audience will ask questions
● A simulated “press” will create distractions (scenes, drama)
● Come up with their own creative solutions and handle the situation
● The decision of the judges of the event will be final and binding on all the participants.
