  • Online Rounds

  • Each team is required to buy a squad of minimum 11 players. The squad is retained throughout round one.

  • Financial and minimum player type constraints are present. (minimum 3 bowlers, 1 all-rounder, 1 wicket keeper) 

  • Each team must choose 11 players for each match.

  • The default lineup will be chosen if no team was set before any simulated match. The default lineup must be specified while buying the squad.

  • Virtual matches are simulated and scores of each player and team are determined.

  • The league table is updated after each and every match based on the points and net run rate.

  • The top 16 teams at the end round 1 will qualify for round 2.

  • The decision of the judges of the event will be final and binding on all the participants.

  • Vary depending on the player's performance in a match.

3.Pitch Condition

  • Favors particular bowling styles
  • Player Batting and Bowling skill level

4.Fielding Set Up

  • The defensive set up tries to reduce the number of runs the opponent takes, but also reduces the chances of taking a wicket.
  • The offensive set up tries to increase the chance of taking a wicket, but may also increase the opponent's chances of taking runs.
  • The balanced set up lies in between.

Judging criteria:

Participants start with zero points.

●     For every match, all the players are awarded points based on their performance in the algorithmically simulated match.

●      The participant’s total score is the sum of his/her individual players’ scores (playing 11).

●      No points awarded for having balance money in the entire process, meaning user is free to spend the money given to him as much as he likes.

●      The top 16 teams qualify for the second round.

Players are to try gain maximum points by buying a team of players with a given fixed budget and making various decisions based on dynamic and static factors introduced in the game.

F.A.Q:

Q) What happens on the first day?

A) You will have to buy your squad and set your default line up. On day 2 you will be able to select your team and lineup depending on the opponent you have been matched up with for the first match.

 

Q) Can I make changes to my squad after entering the game?

A) No, you cannot make changes to your squad after choosing them. You can only pick your playing 11 from your squad for every match.

 

Q) What playing combination should I use?

A) Any combination provided you have a minimum of 3 bowlers, 1 allrounder and 1 wicketkeeper.

 

Q) What happens if I do not submit a playing 11 for a match?

A) Your default lineup will be chosen. You will have to set your default lineup while you buy your squad.

 

Q) What happens if I join the league mid way, after a simulation has occurred?

A) You will only be able to play from the next simulated round.

 

Q) Are multiple accounts allowed?

A) No, you cannot do that. Any team found violating the rule will be disqualified immediately.

 

Q) Are there any bonus points?

A) No. There are no bonus points.

 

Q) When will the matches be simulated?

A) 11:59 pm of every match day.
