The GNU/Linux Users Group, Trichy (GLUG-T) proudly presents Pengufest.

Having its origins at Pragyan 2008, Pengufest is back with grandiose, providing talks on eclectic topics, hackathons and unconferences to instigate the hacker in you. With its primary goal to help you kick-start your open source journey, Pengufest provides beginner-friendly talks on contribution to open source, version control (Git), and hands-on hacking sessions. The speakers range from alumni of NITT to past GSoC'ers. The talks go together with hands-on sessions, providing you a learn-by-doing approach.

We also present late-night hackathons, where you collaborate, hack and contribute. Why sleep when you can hack? Sit down with your laptops, choose a project you like, discuss and hack. You get to scratch your own itches.

Is that all?  Nope!!!

Be there at Pengufest to witness the celebration of Wikipedia's 10th birthday, followed by a session on contributing to the Wikimedia Project! Who knows? You could even win Wikipedia goodies!
